  We have been customers with Van Isle Vet clinic since we moved out to the island 2 1/2 years ago and brought all of our three dogs to them. We thought they were a great vet to have right up until today, when we were held up in a traffic accident and arrived 10 minutes late to our appointment for our puppy to have her last set of vaccinations. Even though we’ve always have had to wait 20 to 30 min to be seen by the vets in the past, because we were 10 minutes late, we were turned away and made to book another appointment. We were extremely disappointed as we’ve been loyal customers from the beginning. However, after today, that’s all changed and we were able to have our little puppy be seen by a different veterinary practice.

  Van Isle Veterinary Hospital has completely changed how I feel about vets. In fact, I used to dread everything about taking my dogs to the vet. However, thanks to their fantastic and friendly staff, great atmosphere, and immediately obvious ability to help your pet, I am now completely at ease. Over the past five years Van Isle has earned both my dogs and my complete trust.

  I have only been here once but received the most friendly and professional service. The staff are excellent, very thorough and knowledgeable. I had an emergency with my cat, called in the morning and got him in within the hour. He was well looked after for the afternoon and came home a lot happier. I have received check up calls to make sure everything is still good. Thank you to everyone for the care and helpfulness. I have never been to such a beautiful office that didn't smell like a vet's office, and it looks more like a dental office. With that being said, the prices are very fair and reasonable. Great place for pets of all size!

  My cat had to have his eye removed and Dr Maclean and the rest of the staff were amazing! They encouraged me to call if ever I had a concern and they were always willing to take a look at him to make sure everything was going well.
