Now I'm sitting in their shop waiting for them to actually replace the speaker.

Immediately noticed that the speakers were underpowered. Quiet and not a full sound. Then the passenger speaker blew. I brought it in and left them with it for the day. When I came to pick it up they told me the speaker was fine. I had to sit in the truck with 2 different guys until they admitted it was blown. They also accidentally disconnected my interior door handle so that also needed to be fixed.

I fully expect to be in the shop again soon when the speakers blow for a second time, due to the underpowered deck.

I've been here multiple times. The guys are nice and accommodating, and rather friendly. They also have helped in pricing in order to get me the best deal and be competitive with others in town, and that's great! Though, in terms of information given, they don't always go into very deep detail. Maybe it's the turnover I see that makes for a lack of knowledge? Just guessing on my part.

If you're ever going to demo some car speakers, make sure they turn off all adjustments and EQ presets! If they have any adjustments active they're selling a product on its sound quality that doesn't exist at the base level, and might push you to buy them that way like they tried to do for me. At least the staff are nice and they helped to try and give me the best deal they could

Wanted to replace the front factory speakers on my 2016 f150. They recomended a pair of hertz. All in $600 installed. For 2 speakers not cheap but not outrageous.

The one thing that sketches me out is that last week I was recommended some Hertz speakers. Was asked what he could offer me to get me into buying some that same day. I listened to some of my music on them and thought they sounded great. But I came back later to check, and it turns out they had the equalizer settings completely different from the neutral level, which would be the way they sound naturally without adjustments . Maxed out bass, maxed out mid range, and bass boosted too. I didn't check, but they probably had an EQ preset on too.

Long story short they oversold me on the speakers (with factory deck should have gone lower end), then wasted my time when the underpowered speakers blew. When I explained I wasn't happy with the product all I got was a complex answer about how it's fords fault, not theirs.

This doesn't sound bad normally, but I was never told that the demo speakers were adjusted. Nobody said a word that they changed the base audio experience. They were trying to sell me on a sound quality that wasn't what the speakers would normally sound like out of the box. A very strong lack of transparency there, and one that had me feel unsure about giving them my business. Decided to go elsewhere for that reason.
