  I have to give this dealership a well earned 5 star for all the hard work and effort they put forth with the recent purchase of my VW GTI. Although there were a few minor hiccups, (I lend that to the fact that I had travelled from Alberta and did the deal solely through email and phone calls), everyone that I dealt with was excellent! Kathy, David, Nicky, Mike, Char and all the service department! A huge high 5 to all of you! They went above and beyond my expectations and I can't express how grateful I am that I was treated so well.

  Full disclosure: I Used to work here.. The whole team is wonderful, and I say team because they truly are one. From service, to sales, to parts, they will treat you and your vehicle right, and do it with a smile! Have had both my cars serviced there and bought my 2012 GTI there. Always recommend this place to my friends and family! Weather you are looking for a new or used car, to buy parts for your current car, or have it serviced, this is THE Volkswagen dealership on the Island to help you out!

  My wife purchased a 2010 2.0L Turbo from them brand new in 2010. The engine gave us nothing but troubles from the start. They had it apart for 2 1/2 months at times fixing it. Michael in their service department was great. He learned as much as he could about the inherent issues with this motor and tried to fix it each time. He did the best with a piece of garbage. My wife recently took it back there to be looked at when it was having issues and VW in Victoria said "nothing was wrong with it". He diagnosed the issue right away and gave my wife the following choices. 1. Wait in Courtenay while they ordered the parts and pay $3500 to get it fixed. 2. Trade it in on a new car. 3. Sign a waiver acknowledging that it was "unsafe to drive" and VW had no liability if something happened on the way home. (oh and your insurance may not be valid if you drive it off the lot.) Extremely poor product from the outset; will never buy another VW as long as I live. Good service in Courtenay from Michael, given the garbage he had to work with, but very heavy handed in terms of their treatment of a loyal customer who had to put up with their garbage product and incompetent service department in Victoria.
