Had been here once prior and the food and experience were great, so much so I was confident bringing a foodie friend, who I hope never takes food recommendations from me again. The food on this menu cycle was uninspired, the bone marrow looked a lot like dog food (seriously. If you feed your dog raw, think lamb neck and you’d be thinking of what was presented on the plate), and and service was horrific. Maybe 4 tables to wait on a Sunday at dinner time and the waitstaff could be seen milking around talking to each other while our menus had been closed and stacked for a good ten minutes, the international sign for ‘I know what I want now’. 2 stars because, as mentioned, my previous experience was pretty good. I’d like to say I’d be back to give it one more try, but I honestly probably won’t.

    Above normal for pub food.

Great service, below average food. Very nice, friendly and efficient staff, but the food is just not worth the price. $15 for a very small piece of mostly batter with a tiny bit of fish inside and fries that were clearly frozen from a supply chain. Add to that a ginger ale that was mostly ice and you do not have a good meal. The other 5 people at my table had similar experiences with a very bitter salad, cold nachos with almost no toppings, etc Will not be returning.

New seasonal menu every 3 months. 17 different rotating taps. Locally sourced, globally-influenced menu. The building used to be a large family home so is cozy and intimate but can still fit as many as you like. Definitely a "foodie" place but they have a wide variety of things on menu. I have been here dozens of times and never had a meal that has been less than outstanding.

The setting for this Restaurant next to the water is really great, at its best on those long summer evenings. Previously called the Monte Christo, which was always a nice (but somewhat so-so food-wise) experience, the food and beer menu got a whole lot better with the new ownership. We love going there and have always been treated really well. It can get busy, so probably not the best place to go if you're in a hurry.

Lots of different crafts on tap, they don't brew their own. All window wrap around, looking on the river. Dock platform on river if you want to kayak/boat up. Kids are allowed up to a certain time.

Nice outside deck for summer, not in use over colder months.
