  Went early to inquire about tickets for an event happening later that night and had to deal with an extremely sassy bartender who was of no help and didn't even know there was a show at the bar! Fast forward to 1a.m, I am trying to get my coat for coat check and I have called a cab to be there in 20 minutes. It took me over half an hour to get my coat and the girl in charge was letting her friends budge as well as serving after last call I believe. She even went to the back and dissapired for 10 minutes with nobody to cover her, I assume smoke break because she came back empty handed. I missed my cab and had to walk home in -5 because the cab company wouldn't pick up after I missed the first car. Not impressed at the very unprofessional treatment by staff. It will have to be an amazing act for me to attend that dive bar again....and I will never use the coat check service there again

  What a place! Great stage, good beer, decent menu, great srvice. A true favorite for live music lovers. Check out The Jazz Society sponsored Thursday shows. What a great place!

  I went to Avalanche last night and the lovely young woman who was working the coat check was doing an excellent job at the end of the night to get everyone their coats in a timely fashion! So polite and organized.

  Personally, my experience that I had at the Avalanche was one of the best I have had in years. Great food and excellent service. But to top it off, the lady (Kirten I think) at cost check was polite and professional. Ensuring everyone left the establishment with smiles on their faces. As well as this, she was able to handle a rude intoxicated costumer well when he went behind the counter and tried to get back his coats. she deserves a raise for all her hard work.

  There was this one guy though he seemed super drunk and upset, he kept yelling at her "Do you know who I am" and trying to budge in front of people! What a loser!

  Nice enough, but not great. Staff were pretty average and drinks a bit weak
